arrive in the evening at Barajas and try to run a taxi to the awarding of the top 20% students of the school, admitted to Beta Gamma Sigma Society. Unfortunately we can not come in time, we just linger to greet someone and have a drink, before we meet at the ceremony itself the following day.
So, after a dinner at the English Ursula, where we consumed many lunches in this year in Madrid, and a jump to school for one last goodbye, let's go to the hotel to rest a little, finally.

Friday, December 19
The morning is hectic and exciting. We get ready quickly and take a taxi to the Palacio des Congresos. In the square, little by little come all and greetings are warm, after so long away. The ceremony begins at 11 and are arranged by section in the audience, with the family to sit behind the students. After some initial comments and presentations will start the delivery of the diploma and the call of the stage. We are so happy and excited and all. All'una e mezza finalmente c'è il rompete le righe ed è tempo di saluti, congratulazione e gioia nel cocktail di chiusura organizzato nella hall. Sono letteralmente l'ultimo ad andare via, dopo avere salutato tutti quelli che ho potuto e aver fatto le congratulazioni al mio best professor Gonzalo Garland. Sara e mia Mamma sono distrutte, per non parlare di Marcello, who is sleeping after a long agony.
So let's get back to the hotel for a rest in view of the great closing party ...
In the afternoon we go out for a walk downtown, the climate is mild and sunny so it is pleasant to see it again Madrid. For dinner we decided to go in a Galician restaurant very popular for an evening of joyful celebration. At eleven o'clock we go back to the hotel for Marcello to go to bed, crying in despair, and prepare the feast.
The evening held at the ME MidnightRose hotel in Plaza Santa Ana is unforgettable. Location refined and elegant, first class service, but also more than 400 people agreed to one last wild celebration. The evening spent in dancing, drinks, hugs, greetings and chatting until 3.30am. In reality no one really wants to go to sleep so the party moves laboriously (on foot because they are not free taxi) to pull Pacha morning. At seven-thirty in the morning, even without the light of dawn we finally returning to the hotel on foot. Saturday, December 20

Game Over!

Tuesday evening, July 29th, we came back in Italy.

The excitement of the departure of yet another move and did not make us think about anything.

But now, as I write, I feel sad ending to an adventure and excitement and impatience for a new one that is about to begin.

Grande festa finale post esami e prima delle partenze estive.
La mia classe ha organizzato una intera giornata di festa per prepararsi alle agognate vacanza estive, invitando tutto l'imba in un tennis club poco fuori Madrid.
Ci aspettavano una cosa assai figa ma all'arrivo la sensazione è stata più quella di fantozzi, vittima delle organizzazioni del rag. filini...

Insomma il posto non era un granchè ma la voglia di festeggiare ci ha fatto dimenticare il resto.
Dopo piscina e sole nel pomeriggio, abbiamo giocato finalmente un pò a tennis prima della cena a base di mega paella e tortillas innaffiate di sangria....

Dopo cena, notte danzante e open bar per all ...... it was really a great night, very enjoyable and memorable.

We, last week before the summer exams and generally last exams for me here in Madrid before the closing ceremony in December.

Un saluto anche al mio ultimo gruppo di lavaro, molto in gamba e di grande aiuto in questa ultima faticosissima fase.
