Bilbao, San Sebastian Santander y Hello everyone, I
Thursday morning, Ivan, Marcello and grandmother Adele we started traveling to the north of Spain destinations: Basque Country (Bilbao, San Sebastian) and Cantabria (Santander).
Thursday after a rapid shift in the hotel we spent the day in Bilbao, with compulsory visit to the Guggenheim Museum, F. Gehry. Its fascinating architecture made up of volumes from the most diverse set against each other, its location along the banks of the river ...., we have literally stregato. Assolutamente da vedere!! Indescrivibile!!!
Dopo una lunga paseggiata ed un pranzo nel centro storico, ci siamo diretti to the beach crowded with surfers waiting for the right wave, despite the freezing water!
Marcello Even after a long afternoon nap, after some hesitation he walked barefoot on the sand, looking for shells "giants."
Back in Casco Viejo
dined based bonito (tuna prized local) Merluza y bacalao in a restaurant where Marcello has made friends with a English family, especially Mary, the youngest of three daughters who was very loving and caring with him!
The little guy has also made common cause with two children in Spain: the brown and blond!!
On Saturday we moved in Cantabria and we visited Santander. The city is nice but normal, but when we moved to the beach, the scenario has completely changed. Huge expanses of fine sand, ice cold water here and here people who swam or sunbathing!
As in San Sebastian, here too, with pants rolled up to his knees, taking at least we cooled our feet in water. Marcello did not seem to accept it and say, "Hot, Hot," which really meant that it was too cold.
